The Super Squale watch was introduced in the 1960s and quickly became a favorite among Squale brand fans. Charles Von Büren registered the "Super-Squale" trademark in 1959, signaling the creation of a legendary dive watch. Designed for skin diving, the Super Squale is lightweight with a 38mm diameter case, a width of 45mm, and a 200 meter water resistance.
The latest Super Squale models pay homage to the past while incorporating modern features, and are fitted with double-domed sapphire crystals for clear legibility and a vintage aesthetic. Unlike the plexiglass crystals used in dive watches during the 1960s, the sapphire crystals are scratch resistant.
