Davosa is a Swiss made watch brand and an independent family business. The Hasler family has produced watch parts since 1861, added quartz watches to its mechanical production in 1975 and has offered its watches under the DAVOSA name since 1987. Vireo belongs to Davosa's Executive range of elegant watches: a men's quartz watch available as a dual-time model and as a chronograph.

The Vireo Chronograph uses a chronograph movement from the Swiss maker Ronda. Beneath its domed crystal, the hands are set by hand and have a satin-brushed finish and a luminescent coating. For a more delicate look there is the Vireo Medium: its case measures 36 mm instead of the 41 mm of the earlier version, while the functions and technical styling stay the same. It looks lighter, suits slimmer wrists and also appears among Davosa's ladies' watches. Vireo is for anyone who wants a Swiss quartz chronograph with a clean, technical character.
