The Hasler family, founders of Davosa, have made watch parts since 1861 and added quartz watches in 1975; since 1987 their Swiss watches have carried the DAVOSA name, and the company remains an independent family business. Nautic Star is a men's quartz diver's watch: a Swiss Ronda quartz movement sits inside a 316L stainless steel case measuring just over 40 mm, protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.
It has all the features of a classic diver's watch: a screw-down crown and a fully threaded screw-in caseback for a tight seal, plus a wide, high-quality ceramic bezel. It is water resistant to about 100 metres, all indices, dots and hands are luminous, and the steel link bracelet has a safety clasp with diver's extension. A Nautic Star Chronograph with quartz movement is also available. The collection is ideal for men who want a sporty Swiss dive watch that needs no winding, from the beach to the office.
