DAVOSA is a Swiss made brand and an independent family business. Its roots reach back to 1861, when Abel Frédéric Hasler started making silver watch cases by hand, and its name dates from 1987. In 1975 the company added quartz watches to its mechanical production. The Davosa Amaranto takes its name from the Greek word 'amarantos', meaning everlasting – a fitting name for a classic quartz dress watch with understated, timeless elegance.
Amaranto comes in men's and ladies' versions, and every version is available with a 31 mm or a 39 mm case, so two watches can be worn as a matching pair. The flat case and soft leather strap make it a comfortable everyday watch. Dials come with plain indices, Roman numerals or Arabic numerals, and the indices and Roman-numeral versions are also available gold-plated. The men's model belongs to DAVOSA's Executive range, which makes Amaranto a good fit for the office, for formal occasions and for anyone who prefers a timeless Swiss watch without unnecessary details.
