DAVOSA is an independent Swiss family business: the Hasler family has been making watch parts since 1861, and its watches have carried the DAVOSA name since 1987; in 2003 the brand added its first ladies' collection. As the name suggests, the Davosa Vintage collection draws on past decades. It includes the Vintage 60s, a ladies' quartz watch with an oval case and a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal that brings a touch of retro charm to the wrist.
The signature of the Vintage 60s is its bracelet: curved C-shaped links run out from the case like a necklace, so the watch can be worn loosely like a bangle watch. The links are easy to shorten, which means the bracelet can be fitted to any wrist size. The Vintage name also covers sportier models, the Vintage Rallye Pilot and the Vintage Diver, and the brand's timeline records a limited-edition Rallye Pilot Chronograph released in 2010. Vintage suits women who want a Swiss watch with a jewelry look and a nod to the past.
