The Hasler family, founders of DAVOSA, has been making watch parts in Switzerland since 1861. In 1946 it started producing its own movements and watches, and since 1987 they have been offered under the DAVOSA name. Today DAVOSA remains an independent family business and a Swiss made watch brand. The Davosa Pianos II is a men's quartz dress watch from the brand's Executive range and a refined successor to the earlier Pianos model.

Compared with the original, the case edge and crown are much slimmer, which gives the watch an even more elegant profile on the wrist. The dials are clearly laid out, with Arabic or Roman numerals, and some versions have a guilloché dial center as a subtle decorative touch.
